CHAIRPLANES   GOOD AND EVIL

.The proposed show consists of two chairplanes.

One plane, in red, represents hell and Satan. The other

plane, in white and green, represents justice and God.

Surrounding the planes are a series of photo/montage

scenes showing the planes in action.

The photo/montage scenes become a documentary of

the life of the sculptures.

The sculptures depend on the scenes, and the scenes depend on the sculpture.

It feels good to create something that is easily recognizable.

I have designed all the glass so that each piece is surrounded by a wooden frame, thus becoming windows. The observer then has the

feeling of familiarity and simplicity, a feeling that he too can put one of these together.
